A clear connection, from the start.

Does this give me free or unlimited AI video generation?

No. MCP connects your assistant to CreatorBase tools. Your assistant retains its own subscription and usage limits. Reading and saving a project plan do not run a paid planning model. Media generation and optional paid planning have separate credit costs.

Why can’t I see the connection option?

Some assistants restrict custom connectors by account, region, app or workspace permissions. Try the web app for ChatGPT or Claude and check the official guide in the setup panel. Gemini instructions here are specifically for Gemini CLI.

How do I know it worked?

Enable CreatorBase in your assistant, then use the test prompt above. The assistant should call list_video_projects and return your projects, or an empty list. Opening an assistant link alone does not establish a connection.

What if the connection expires?

Reconnect through your assistant’s connector settings and approve access again. If that fails, contact support with the assistant name and error message. Never send access tokens or passwords.

Advanced: other MCP clients and manual API keys

For clients that support Streamable HTTP with custom headers, create a personal key in API Keys. Keep that key private and revoke it there when no longer needed. Client configuration formats can differ.
